Do you want new results?
You’re going to have to sacrifice something.
Any great accomplishment is done with sacrifice.
Olympians sacrifice time having fun so they can train vigorously – sometimes painfully.
New entrepreneurs sacrifice the image they have with their friends, and sometimes family – to step out and do something new and great.
Video Gamers sacrifice productive activities to go beat level 147 from “Final Quest XI” or whatever.
All things accomplished are done by sacrificing something.
Now, when it comes to having enough money for your desired lifestyle (because less is defined as poverty), you know that you must sacrifice old thoughts!
Absolutely! Here’s how it works:
Change your thinking.. because then you change your income… and ultimately, your life.
You must think thoughts of abundance. No longer Lack.
You must practice wealth. No longer poverty.
You must listen to successful mentors. No longer Poor Uncle Bill.
You must become a leader. No longer a follower.
You must decide. No longer be indecisive.
So you see – there’s always something you sacrifice.
When it comes to your thoughts, you have to sacrifice your old paradigms (or beliefs) – because all they brought you was all you have!
Once you conduct the sacrifice, new ways of thinking can take root in your life.
You may need some guidance, and I’d be happy to help you with it.
Remember, do this for yourself, not by yourself.
But when it happens, your mind changes – and you start telling yourself a new story about what your life looks like. Then, it changes the things you do day to day…
Then it changes your results.
It’s the same process regardless of your situation, my friend.
Decide what you want – then work backwards. Without fail, you will have to remove old thought and belief patterns and replace them with ones that lead toward to your desires.
If you’re tired of making $1,000 a month,
think like you’re making $2,000 a month.
If you’re tired of making $5,000 a month,
think like you’re making $15,000 a month.
If you’re tired of making $100,000 a month,
think like you’re making $500,000 a month.
But literally —> Sacrifice who you were – because
that only got you what you’ve already got.
And take on a new self with new thoughts… because that will get you what no one else can have.
So —- how do you sacrifice who you were?
Write about the present life you’re not happy with. Be specific!
Your house.
Your family.
Your money.
Your contribution to others.
Be aware of the emotions you feel and write them down, too!
Then — before you do anything!!! — conduct a sacrifice! Make a ritual out of it!
Maybe a funeral.
I cremated mine!! There’s a picture at the bottom of this post of what my old life looks like.
Then go back and write down what your new life looks like. Be specific! —> And make sure it’s present tense!
Your house.
Your family.
Your money.
Your contribution to others.
And embrace those emotions – write them down, too!
Then celebrate!! – because this isn’t just a new chapter, you’ve started a whole new book!
Take that last page you wrote on, and put it on your wall… or by your mirror… or on your fridge… or all of the above. Remind yourself constantly of your new life.
If you get a thought that isn’t in line with your vision, be grateful – because it just lets you know your memory isn’t gone – but put it aside and remember it’s been sacrificed!
You’ve got a new life now!
For heaven’s sake – if you haven’t started this process, you will be like a fly trying to break through a window, endlessly pounding your head against the thin glass between you and what you want.
Freedom.
Just stop for a second.
Here’s the Door.
